Babe Ruth's New York apartment up for sale
An apartment that was lived in by Babe Ruth at the end of his historic New York career has been put up for sale for $1.6 million.
The Bambino and his family once owned the entire 11th floor of the building-which has since been divided into two units.
Ruth moved into the apartment in 1929 and often hosted traded Yankees players who were in town with other teams.
The two bedroom, three bathroom co-op might seem like a steal at $1.6 million-but there will be a $2,864-a-month fee for maintenance and common charges.
