Atlanta Falcons Collectibles And Memorabilia
Atlanta Falcons Collectibles And Memorabilia are items relating to the professional American football team based in Atlanta, Georgia
The Atlanta Falcons joined the NFL in 1965 and the team colors are red, black, white and silver. In 1966 the Falcons wore red helmets featuring a black falcon crest logo which was originally put on the jersey sleeves, but it was later replaced by a red and white stripe pattern in 1970. The uniforms switched from black to red in 1971, and the Falcons started to wear silver pants as their team uniform in 1978.
Although the Falcons haven't won any League championships to date, the team did win an NFC Conference Championship in 1998, four Division Championships in 1980, 1998, 2004 and 2010, and appeared in the NFL playoffs in 1978, 1980, 1982, 1991, 1995, 1998, 2002, 2004, 2008, 2010 and 2011.
The Atlanta Falcons currently hold the record as the NFL team with the longest streak of seasons without consecutive winning seasons thanks to a streak that lasted from 1966 to 2008. This streak ended in 2009 after the Falcons beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the final game of the season.
