Albersheim's (originally Albersheim Autographs) is a retailer of sports memorabilia and autographs.

The company was founded by Richard Albersheim who began collecting autographs in person in the late 1970s to the early 1980s.

When a middle school friend of Albersheim's sold him a Muhammad Ali autograph for $8 in 1985, he became hooked and eventually turned his collecting hobby into a business.

At first the money raised from selling autographs out of his own collection were used to reinvest in buying other autographs to add to his collection.

By the early 1990's, Richard Albersheim was one of the top autograph dealers and authenticators in the United States with a focus on vintage sports.

Albersheim has appeared on the ABC television show, "Ball Boys." He has also worked as an expert witness in legal cases; most notably in Cook County, IL. Additionally, he has helped some of the country's top collectors put together private museums, collections, consulted for major auction houses, and authenticated some of the world's rarest sports artifacts.
