NASA and Microsoft join forces to bring you to Mars
NASA and Microsoft have teamed up for a new interactive exhibition entitled 'Destination: Mars' which will allow the public to 'walk on Mars.'
The exhibition uses Microsoft's Hololens headset to offer the public a 'mixed reality' virtual experience at Nasa's Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The tour will be led by a holographic version of the astronaut Buzz Aldrin who will lead visitors around the surface of Mars which has been reconstructed using real imagery from Nasa's Curiosity Mars Rover, which has been exploring the Red Planet since August 2012.
The exhibition will open this summer.
