A Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop computer used by Bill Clinton to transmit the first-ever presidential email to outer space sold at RR Auctions yesterday for $50556. The email was sent to John Glen who was in space during NASA's STS-95 mission. John Glenn wrote the president an e mail on the 6th of November 1998 to which Bill Clinton responded on the morning of November 7th. Both these emails are preserved in the hard drive of the laptop and backed up on the included floppy disk.
