Royal memorabilia collection of Queens hairdresser to auction
An auction of royal memorabilia accumulated by Charles Martyn- who served as Queen Elizabeth II's personal hairdresser for 30 years-is to auction with Duke's this October.
Numerous signed christmas cards, medals, letters and Royal programmes from Martyn's personal collection will be heading to auction this autumn on the 15th and 16th of October.
Charles Martyn is one of just a handful of names to have been appointed the position of personal hairdresser to the Queen since the Coronation in 1953-a position Martyn held for 30 years after he was appointed in 1968.
