Queen Elizabeth II's Jubilee state coach
HM Queen Elizabeth II travelled to the state opening of parliment yesterday in the new jubilee state coach which represents hundreds of years of the nations history.
The coach features many priceless artefacts which have been incorporated into the bodywork including fragments from Henry VIII's warship the Mary Rose and Sir Issac Newtons apple tree. The top of the coach features a crown that has been carved from Admiral Nelson's HMS Victory.
It is only the second state coach to have been built in more than 100 years and will go on display at Buckingham Palace starting Sunday.
