Lot 745: Edward Vii: (1841-1910) King Of The United Kingdom 1901-10. Two A.Ls.S., Albert Edward And With Initials A E, As Prince Of Wales, Five Pages (Total), 8Vo, Buckingham Palace And N.P., N.D. ('Monday'), To His Cousin Prince Victor Of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1833-1891, Admiral And Sculptor). In The First Letter Edward States That He Is Going To See A Burlesque Called Helen At The Adelphi Theatre After His Cousin'S Dinner And Hopes That He Will Accompany Him ('Please Find Out At What Time The Piece Commences (It Is The Second One) & Regulate Your Dinner Hour Accordingly') And In The Second Letter Edward Informs His Cousin That He Will Leave On The 8Am Train, Inviting Him To Come At The Same Time And Remarking 'It May Be A Little Early But Not For Such An Active Fellow As You.'
