George VI's WWII briefcase at auction
A briefcase owned and used by King George VI during WWII could make over $15,000 at auction with Nate D Sanders tomorrow.
The briefcase is embossed with the royal monogram 'GR IV' and containes 9 black and white officially captioned photographs of the King visiting troops during the war along with a copy of ''The Royal Family in Wartime: The Illustrated Story of The Activities of the Royal Family in the Service of People and Empire'.
At the time of writing, the briefcase has attracted no takers on the $15K opening bid. It is due to finish at auction tomorrow at 5pm Pacfic.
