Antique photo album makes £22,000 at auction
An antique photo album that was only expected to fetch £200 at auction has gone on to sell for £22,000-as it contains a photograph of the last Maharaja Duleep Singh taken by Prince Albert.
The album was discovered during a house clearance and once belonged to naval surgeon Sir John Spencer Login who was appointed as Duleep Singh's tutor when he was 5 years old.
The album was sold by C&T Auctioneers.
