500 historic Royal photographs up for auction
An extraordinary collection of 500 historic photographs of the Royal family are heading to auction this week where they are expected to sell for over £200 each.
The collection includes around 250 pictures of an infant Queen Elizabeth II as well as dozens of images of Prince Charles as a child and various other members of the royal family.
The images were taken by well known Royal photographer Marcus Adams, who passed away in 1959, and were recently discovered along with hundreds of photographs taken by Adam's, his father and his son Gilbert in the family home following the death of Gilbert's widow.
The images will be heading to auction with Dominic Winter later this week.
