The James Bond character has been played by various different actors throughout the series' history including Sean Connery in Dr. No (1962), From Russia With Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967) and Diamonds Are Forever (1971), George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), Roger Moore in Live and Let Die (1973), The Man With the Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), and Moonraker (1979), to name a few.
Guide for collectors
Memorabilia from early James Bond films starring Sean Connery are considered to be the most rare and valuable - Connery is regularly voted the most popular and iconic James Bond actor, and his memorabilia is by far the most sought after.
A with any original film posters, only those printed specifically for use by cinemas are valuable. Reprinted posters which were mass produced for retail are relatively worthless to collectors.
Second advance, one-sheet James Bond movie posters are also considered to be rare and valuable, as they were printed during the film's initial release and may feature different images or text than movie posters which were printed after the film's release.
Restoration of a James Bond poster is recommended, but only if there is noticeable damage. However, restoring the poster may decrease its value.
