Swann Auction Galleries will auction this Rene Magritte 'Marche des Snobs' sheet music cover on the 25th of February during their Vintage Posters sale. Before emerging as one of the great 20th century surrealist painters, Magritte was a commercial graphic designer. He designed over 40 music sheet covers, each one executed in an appealing Art Deco style. Estimate: $1200 - 1800.
