Original The Empire Strikes Back Poster
The original poster for The Empire Strikes Back is a classic in every sense of the word: not only is it a hugely iconic poster, but it harks back to the great film posters from the 50s and 60s.
The 'Style A' poster released in 1980 was apparently inspired by the poster for Gone With the Wind. While the two films couldn't be more different, it definitely worked in this situation.
