Warwick and Warwick Ltd. is an auction house specialising in the collecting fields of philately, numismatics, medals, postcards, cigarette cards, models and toys.

Founded in 1958, it has been under the same ownership since 1981. The company has offices in Warwick and Chester and it conducts 24 public auctions in Warwick each year.

Expertise and Services

Warwick and Warwick has ten experts on its staff, in six different departments, including seven with philatelic expertise. Of the seven philatelic experts, six have more than twenty years experience as professional valuers, four of them continuously in the service of Warwick and Warwick.

The company accurately values collections and sells them by public auction and private treaty sale. Valuation days are organised on a regular basis throughout the United Kingdom and visits abroad are possible.

The company organises valuation days in hotels throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and a list of current venues is published on the company website. Collections are accepted for detailed valuation, with a view to their sale by auction.

Trustee Department

Trustee services are available free of charge for collectors wishing to register details of their collections with the company. On the death of the collector the executor of the will contacts Warwick and Warwick to organise the sale of the collection in the manner requested by the collector.
