We are hiring: BIG role, BIG opportunity

My name is Mike Hall and I am CEO of Just Collecting Limited.

We are an exciting growth company in the £100 billion per annum collectibles market.

We only started trading in September last year.

The pace of our growth since then has exceeded even my optimistic expectations. As a result, we need a Group Accountant to join us as a key member of our team.

The position is based at our offices in Clifton, Bristol. The job demands some travel to other group locations, including the sunny island of Jersey in the Channel Islands.

The role reports directly to me as CEO. Let me be clear…

This is a demanding role for a newly qualified accountant and you will need to learn fast.

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant 22 years ago.

And, I will be there every step of the way to coach you and to give you the support you will need.

One day, I hope to see you become a business leader, just like me!

This would have been my perfect job

This is the kind of opportunity I would have relished as a newly qualified accountant.

You see, it is an opportunity to work hard, learn a lot of skills and become a high calibre accountant very quickly.

You won’t be just a pawn in someone else’s game. You will be a key player, supporting and assisting me to take this business to the heights I know it is capable of.

There is also an equity opportunity here…

What that means is that you stand the chance of making a life changing amount of money within 3-5 years.

But, only if we succeed in building a truly great and valuable business.

We can’t compete with the big companies in terms of salary just yet.

But, rest assured, if we deliver on our plan, your salary and annual bonuses will rocket pretty quickly.

If you want to be something more than just another “bean counter” and want to be a true integral part of a company’s performance and success, then this role is for you.

Don’t get me wrong, counting beans is important. But, it’s what you do with those beans after you know how many you’ve got that really makes the difference.

In summary, I need someone that is:

  1. Smart and a fast learner
  2. Focussed on the detail with strong analytical skills to get to the heart of what the numbers mean to the running of the company
  3. Dedicated and hard working
  4. Flexible and capable of multi-tasking
  5. Good with systems and processes to make our business as efficient as it can be at the same time as delivering a level of customer service that makes us all proud
  6. Dynamic, energetic and not “overly” serious all of the time

If you think this describes you, message me on linkedin or email me at mike@justcollecting.com.

A bit about us

Just Collecting Limited is associated with Paul Fraser Collectibles, a business which has been trading successfully over the past 9 years from Bristol.

We are a small team but the team is growing fast in line with business growth.

Our business does not have any debt and has substantial asset backing through our extensive stockholding of high quality rare collectibles.

I have, personally, been involved with the collectibles market for almost two decades. Our Chairman, Paul Fraser has been trading in collectibles for the past 40 years.

Very briefly, our mission is to create the “number 1” collectibles website. The eBay, Amazon and Facebook of collectibles, all rolled into one.

Take a look at where we are with our websites already:

And… we are working on more - much more - than just collectibles.

If you are ambitious and ready for the challenge, please contact me now at mike@justcollecting.com.

Kind regards

Mike Hall
