Nixon Presidential Library and Museum will close for renovations
The Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in will close at the end of September this year to undergo renovations.
It will open again in the autumn of 2016.
Michael Ellzey, director of the museum, comments: “Our mission is to create a new, more interesting and provocative look at Richard Nixon, using innovative ways to connect with visitors,”
"It’s time to tell a more complete and engaging story of the life and legacy of America’s 37th President using the vast archives available to us by one of the most documented presidencies in history.”
