In full: "For value rec'd I promise to pay John Adams, or his order, the sum of Two pounds, seventeen shillings and Six Pence lawful money on demand with interest well paid." Also signed at the conclusion by the issuer, Samuel Clark. In fine condition, with scattered mild toning and a horizontal fold. Accompanied by an engraved portrait of Adams bearing a facsimile signature and a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
