Concluding portion of a legal document. In part: "The Condition of the above written Recognizance is such that of the above mentioned Jacob Gross shall personally appear at the next General Quarter Sessions of the Peace…to answer to an Indictment…for certain Abuses and threatenings…and that in the mean time he shall be of his good behaviour and keep the peace towards all his Majesties Subjects." Signed at the conclusion by Brodhead as a witness. Toned intersecting folds, trimmed edges, and a few small edge chips and tears, otherwise fine condition.
