Uncommon autograph check, 6 x 4, filled out and signed by Adams, October 21, 1819, in full: “Office of Discount and Deposit of the Bank of the United States, Boston, 21 October 1819, 293 Dolls. 97 cts,. Pay to A. Kerr or Order, Two hundred and nin[ety] three Dollars 97/100, J. Q. Adams, To the Cashier.” Encapsulated in a plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder. In very good to fine condition, with light staining from old mounting residue on the reverse.
