Lot 1219: Chavez Hugo: (1954-2013) President Of Venezuela 1999-2013. A.L.S., Signed Twice, Hugo Chavez Frias, To The First And Second Page, Two Pages, 4To, N.P., 17Th May 1990, To Colonel Richard Salazar Rodriguez, And To César Parra, In Spanish. The Document Is A Telegram Sent To Major Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, Inviting Him To The 17Th Anniversary Of The Officers School Of Cavalry And Tanks. Chavez Writes To The Verso His Response, Probably To Be Typed And Sent Back, Thanks His Correspondent For His Invitation, And Regrets Having To Decline It Because He Is Attending The Academic Courses Of The Mayor State, And States 'I Send You, Unfortunately Dismounted, But With One Foot On The Tank'S Hard Shell, On Which I Was Forged, My Deepest Congratulations To You And To All The Human Team Directing The Armoured Nave'. To The Same Telegram And On Both Sides Of The Document, Chavez Writes A Second Interesting Message, 'Fax', To Be Sent To Parra Viloria, Stating 'Our Life Way, Even If Agitated, Cannot Leave Aside The Affection And Friendship Between Men Going Through It. However, Sometimes, We Are So Much Involved In Our Fight Against Obstacles And Dangers Which Appear Unexpectedly On Our Way, That We Forget To Send A Word Of Encouragement To A Friend Who Is Also Tilling His Way, Probably Close And Similar To Ours'. And Continues 'Therefore I Apologize, Cesar, For The So Many Days That Have Passed. Nevertheless I Ratify My Friendship And My Sincere Wish That You Continue With Your Upward March, Under Your Command Which Is The Reflection Of Your Leading Ability And Of Your Incorruptible Soldier Soul'.
