Items gifted to First Minister Alex Salmond auction for £42K

A number of gifts that were given to Alex Salmond during his time as first minister of Scotland have made £42,100 in a charity auction. Among the gifts that were put on sale was a signed copy of the Edinburgh Agreement along with a a papier-mâché bust of Alex Salmond and First Minister whisky glasses. All of the money raised will go to children's cancer charity Clic Sargent, the Scottish Youth Theatre and St. Jerome's Children's Home in Kenya .

That's a very decent amount raised for charity- the items looks quite nice too!

... although a papier-maché bust of Alex Salmond probably wouldn't entice me.
