Indian Prime Minister Modi sells suit for $690,000
The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi's pinstripe suit, which spelt out his name in tiny letters, has sold for $690,000 at auction.
The suit was sold for charity and was bought by Laljibhai Tulsibhai Patel, chairman of Dharmanandan diamonds, which has its headquaters in Dubai.
The Prime Minister wore the suit in January during President Obama's visit to India-and sparked a national conversation about Mr Modi's satorial choices.
