The last guitar owned by Prince was made in Sussex
It has emerged that one of the last guitars which Prince ever owned was made by a small one man workshop based in the UK.
The very Prince like purple and gold guitar was crafted by Simon "Gus" Farmer in Heathfield and was only handed over to Prince in early March.
Farmer began working on the guitar nine years ago and was told by friends that it was the 'perfect' guitar for Prince but despite his best efforts he could not get the musicians attention. Prince eventually noticed the guitar through social media and had it sent to his home and was seen using it in early April. The singer even ordered a bass from Farmer-but would sadly not live long enough to receive it from him.
Farmer insists he will continue making the bass but is not sure what he will do with it yet.
