Johnny Winters' guitar are coming to auction
A whole bunch of guitars from the collection of Johnny Winters are about to auction in New York.
I still listen to Winters' stuff today, and the albums he produced for Muddy Waters are incredible.
If you're looking for a new axe, there are some sweet examples, like the 1965 Gibson Firebird V in Inverness Green he played on stage for years, or one of his famous Lazer guitars.
You can even get your hands on the first and last instruments he ever owned - a ukulele and a Dean B. Zelinsky prototype.
I don't think Winters gets as much credit as he should as a guitarist, so maybe this sale will put him back in the public eye a little, even after his death.
