Gibson L-5 Archtop Acoustic Guitar
Older Gibsons have a charm to them, like an elderly relative that needs to be cherished. This L-5 Archtop has made it from 1939 in superb condition, which gives hope to us all. This is the first year that this model featured the cutaway shape as well, making this beauty particularly rare.
It's up on eBay for just under $45,000 and it's entirely deserving of that price. It's not for mere mortals like you or I to own, we can only hope that there's one tucked under the bed of an elderly relative that's forgotten about it and wants us to have it!
