Yoko Ono 'Bagism' sack at auction
Regardless of what you think about Yoko Ono, chances are if you mention her name, the next thing that follows is going to be a slightly baffling description of an art movement. In this occasion that movement is 'Bagism', the concept of hiding in a bag in the name of peace.
One of Yoko's original "performance bags" is up for auction on Heritage at the moment, dating from one of her performances in 1965, where the bag hides any form of race, gender or class so you can hypothetically communicate with the wearer without any social preconceptions.
