Unused Woodstock Ticket at auction
I feel bad for the people that bought tickets for Woodstock back in '69- apparently they sold 180,000 of these tickets in advance, then probably realised there was no way they'd be able to enforce something on the scale they were dealing with and so they made it a free concert. Must have been great for those 180,000 down $24 each!
I guess most of these tickets were destroyed or lost once they became kind of pointless but it's the only reason I'd accept for someone to have an unused ticket for Woodstock- missing out on it would have been criminal. This framed ticket is at auction at Julien's with a starting bid of $200.
