The Smithsonian wants your rock n roll photos
The Smithsonian wants you to scour your attics, cel phones, digital galleries and photo albums for rock 'n' roll photographs as part of a new crowdsourcing project that hopes to show the greatest moments in the history of rock as seen through the eyes of the public.
Smithsonian Books and Smithsonian Media will launch the site on the 1st of December which will feature photographs chosen monthly by the Smithsonian and a handful of special guests. A number of bands, photographers and managers will also be sharing their favorite stories and experiences on the site.
The best photo's will form part of a book which is due to be released in fall 2017.
