NME magazine to be distributed for free
The NME magazine will be distributed for free as of today-as the one time 'music lovers bible' struggles to hold its head above water in modern times.
It doesn't hold the title of the 'music lovers bible' for no reason. Since 1954 the NME has had considerable power and influence over the British music scene and until around 10 years ago-this was a sentiment that many believed still rang true.
In recent years the magazine has seen sales plummet to around 15,000 copies a week with many blaming the internet for its demise.
Around 300,000 free copies of the magazine will be available from 500 locations in the UK you might not recognize it though, as it has Rihanna on the cover.
