Morrissey drumhead makes $5,666 for animal sanctuary
Morrissey has auctioned off a signed and inscribed drumhead for $5,666 to benefit the farmed animal sanctuary the Gentle Barn.
Morrissey is famed for using images from popular culture on everything from stage backdrops to record sleeves and this drumhead is no exception-it bears an image of the martial arts expect and actor Bruce Lee.
The drumhead was used by Morrissey and his band during a four nights residency at the Sydney Opera House in Australia and features a handwritten message by Morrissey as well as the singers signature.
All proceeds from the sale have gone to the Gentle Barn in the name of Mercy-a sanctuary resident who was rescued as a calf 4 years ago from a factory farm.
