A small group of 16 mostly printed ephemeral items relating to Maria Malibran, 19th century, including Heron-Allen (Edward), A Contribution Towards an Accurate Biography of Charles Auguste de Beriot and Maria Felicita Malibran-Garcia, reprinted from 'The Violin Times', 1894, 24 pp., first and last leaf browned, modern wrappers with original upper wrapper cut down and relaid, small 4to (limited edition 2/20), plus The Musical Gem: A Souvenir for MDCCCXXX, lithographic portrait frontispiece of Malibran, original quarter morocco, some soiling and wear, 4to, plus one manuscript item by Philips(?) entitled 'Lines on the Death of Madame Malibran de Beriot', 12 lines of verse in English dated 27th November 1836 at York and indistinctly initialled, some spotting, 1 page, 4to, plus various programmes and broadsides etc. including one headlined 'Mrs Anderson's Concert' with a printed letter from Maria Malibran apologising for being unable to sing at her concert at the King's Theatre on 10 May 1833, etc. (16)
