Unique collection of eight original vintage candid photos and a ticket stub from the Beatles concert at the Cow Palace in San Francisco on August 19, 1964, the opening show of their first American tour. Includes seven black-and-white photos, measuring 3.25 x 4.5 and 4.5 x 3.25, with subjects including: Paul McCartney and George Harrison sharing a microphone; a similar shot of John Lennon and Paul McCartney sharing a mic; the full band mid-performance (Ringo's face obscured by a cymbal); individual shots of Paul, George, and Ringo playing their instruments; and a snapshot of Lennon walking past police before the show. Additionally includes one color 3.5 x 3.5 photo of the stage from afar. The scarce ticket stub measures 1.5 x 1.5 and is for "Sec. SS, Row F, Seat 7," on the "Elevated Main Floor." In overall fine condition, with some mild scattered creasing to photos and adhesive remnants to reverse of ticket stub. Six months after they first appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show, the Beatles kicked off their first-ever concert tour of North America with a show at San Francisco's Cow Palace on the night of August 19th, playing before a packed house of 17,130 screaming fans.
