24th March 2020
GIBSON J160-E GUITAR. A Gibson J160-E electro-acoustic guitar, similar to the one John Lennon used on iconic albums 'Please Please Me' and 'With The Beatles' and used to compose Beatles hits like 'I Saw Her Standing There', 'All My Loving' and 'She Loves You'. Made from Sitka spruce, mahogany back and sides and rosewood fretboard, this guitar was first manufactured in 1955 and one of Gibson's first attempts at a electro-acoustic. The body shows some signs of age with some marks/scuffs on front and back, the headstock also has minor scuffs around edges. Comes in a hard case.
