Lot 2416: Joey Ramone's stage-used fingerless black leather glove. The Velcro wrist strap reads "Ramones," with the glove likely being a size medium. In fine condition, with expected wear from use. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Ramones tour assistant, Warren Cohen, in part: "It was after a show at Toad's Place in New Haven CT in the mid 1980s that I observed Joey Ramone struggling to remove his stage worn gloves and throwing them down on the ground. I collected them and was about to put them back in the wardrobe case, when Joey told me to throw the out...I asked if I could keep them, and he said sure...Over the years, one of the gloves was either given away or lost. This is the remaining glove from that Ramones performance in New Haven." The Warren Cohen Collection. RR Auction's RR Auction: Entertainment & Pop Culture Thursday, 12th November 2015 Estimate: $1000-2000
