John Lennon's iconic glasses sold for £14,600
A pair of John Lennon's iconic round glasses have sold for £14,600 at Omega Auctions in Great Sankey.
The glasses were lent by Lennon to his housekeeper Dot Jartlett to give to her son in 1965 who needed a pair to complete a school boy fancy dress outfit.
The glasses were the star lot at the auction which also saw negatives of Cilla Black and Brian Epstein as well as a Stone Roses demo tape go under the hammer.
