Jimi Hendrix's former home opens as museum in London
Jimi Hendrix's former home has opened as a museum in London.
The guitar legend shared his house on 23 Brock Street with girlfriend Kathy Etchingham in the summer of 1968. Coincidentally, another musical legend, Handel, once occupied the house next door-though some 240 years before Hendrix moved in. Now the two have been united through the new Hendrix and Handel museum which has just opened its doors.
The museum showcases Hendrix's personal items as well as photographs and recollections from Kathy Etchingham.
