A Bono autographed U2 self portrait sketch is a piece of music memorabilia signed by the U2 frontman Bono.

 

Background information

Bono is the lead singer of the Irish band U2, one of the best-selling bands of all time with over 150 million album sales worldwide.

Since forming in 1976, the band have recorded 12 studio albums, performed around the world in some of the most elaborate and highest-grossing tours of all time, and won a record 25 Grammy Awards.

In addition to their musical success, the band (and Bono in particular) have become advocates for numerous charities and humanitarian causes such as Amnesty International, the ONE/DATA campaigns and Product Red.

Item description

The sketch and signature appear on a sheet of white paper measuring 8 ¼” by 11 ¾”.

Bono has drawn a cartoon self-portrait sketch featuring a large pair of sunglasses in bold black marker pen. This piece of ‘Signature Art’ is accompanied by his autograph below the sketch.
