ABBA'S 'Dancing Queen' piano to auction at Sotheby's
A piano that was used by Swedish pop group ABBA on some of their biggest hits including 'Dancing Queen' is to auction with Sotheby's-where it could fetch $1.24 million.
Designed by Georg Bolin, the piano was used to play the famous glissando that kicks off ABBA's 'Dancing Queen' and comes with a certificate of authentication from the bands own Benny Andersson , who descibed the instrument as a 'great source of inspiration.'
It will be up for auction as part of Sotheby's rock and pop sale on the 29th of September.
