Limited Back to the Future II 'Pepsi Perfect' bottles are coming
'If you want a Pepsi pal you're gonna pay for it!'
Those famous words spoken in the original Back to the Future film just became that little bit more relevent today, as the soft drink giant announced it was producing a limited line of 'Pepsi Perfect' bottles made to replicate the futuristic Pepsi drink Marty Mcfly buys in Back to the Future II-the cost? $20.15.
Steep, you might say-but it's still not as much as the $50 vitamin infused Pepsi Perfect Marty buys in the movie (one thing we're glad the filmmakers got wrong about the future).
Only 6,500 'Pepsi Perfect' bottles will be available from October 21st-the date which Marty McFly travels to in the second Back to the Future film.
Meanwhile, Pepsi will be distributing 1,500 of the bottles to fans dressed as Marty McFly at this years New York Comic Con-so that they can 'complete their outfit.'
