Daniel Day Lewis lots withdrawn from auction
Dreweatts & Bloomsbury was forced to withdraw a series of lots relating to actor Daniel Day Lewis after he asked the seller to reconsider.
The collection reportedly included a scrapbook detailing his preparations for a film roleand a series of photographs of his family.
The consigner claims to have bought them in a house clearance.
A spokesperson for Day Lewis said: "They are his personal items. It's so wrong in so many ways. I hope whoever owns them will give them to him."
