Among the lots at the auction were a set of photographs by David Bailey whose subjects include Mick Jagger and Micheal Caine, which sold for £1,264. Other lots included a test card, a microphone and a number of items from 'Studio 8' where classics such as Fawlty Towers and Monty Python's Flying Circus were housed. In all the auction is thought to have raised around £100,000, which will go back into the BBC.
