Albion Conan Atlantean sword

The Albion Conan Atlantean sword is a reproduction sword based on the weapon used in the 1982 film Conan the Barbarian, produced by the American maker Albion Swords.

The character of Conan was created in 1932 by the writer Robert E. Howard, and appeared in a number of short stories for the pulp magazine Weird Tales before Howard’s death in 1936. He has since appeared in a successful long-running Comic book series for Marvel and Dark Horse Comics, a number of fantasy novels, cartoons, televisions series and three feature films.

The Atlantean sword is a replica of the sword used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in his role as Conan in the 1982 film ‘Conan the Barbarian’. It was recreated using the original studio moulds by the company Albion Swords, under the direction of the renowned sword maker Jody Samson.

The swords measure 38” in length, with 28” 1075 carbon steel blades, and features engraving by the same company (Daniels Engraving of California) that produced the original swords for the film in 1982. Each of the swords is hand-made, and the entire run is limited to less than 1,000.

How much is a Albion Conan Atlantean sword worth?

The Albion Conan Atlantean sword is available to buy for around $3,000. However, as the swords are produced as limited-edition collectibles there is a good chance their value may increase over time once Albion has ceased producing them for retail.
