1:8 Scale Rolls Royce Phantom II at auction
The Rolls Royce Phantom II cemented the company's reputation for making some of the finest automobiles ever created up to that point, you only need listen to the Sultan in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade to hear how fond he is of the car.
The Phantom II here is based on the Thrupp and Maberly bodied model known as the Star of India, built for the Maharaja of Rajkot in 1934. The enormous 1/8 scale model has been faithfully recreated by Pocher and even comes with a 1/8 scale pair of driving gloves.
Estimated value for the model at auction is £525-625 from Historics at Brooklands and it's due to be auctioned on the 7th of March.
