The Luger is auctioning with an opening reserve of $20k, with live bidding closing this weekend

Manion's auctioneers continues to live up to its reputation as one of the pre-eminent sellers of collectible militaria with the sale of a DWM Russian Model Luger pistol.

The outstanding condition model 1902/6 9mm Luger comes with a distinctive looking named holster and belt.

Ithas an excellent bore, grip safety and a serial number 387, with a matching numbered 3-7/8" barrel.

The holster's inside flap bears the name "PODPORUCHIK" (Second Lieutenant) Glukhov, "St" - which is believed to stand for St Petersburg.
