Wrinkles dog puppets
Wrinkles dog puppets were soft toys produced by the Canada-based Ganz company in the 1980s. Ganz is best known for its Webkinz toys. The toys are commonly referred to as Wrinkles.
Designed by Ontario, Canada-based Senitt Puppets, the toys were produced by Ganz in the 1980s.
They featured gaps in the bottom of the toy that enabled them to be employed as puppets.
The original line of dogs came in three sizes, the medium of which stood 18 inches high. These were the most prevalent size.
Further animals were introduced to the line, including a moose and an elephant.
The range won Canadian Toy of the Year in 1985.
A number of talking Wrinkles was also produced. They had a vocabulary of 150 words.
