Among the items on offer, one stands out:The Great One's 500th goal game-worn jersey, which he also wore throughout the Oilers' playoff runto the 1987 Stanley Cup. It is estimated to be worth $25,000.

Chaulk told his hometown publication Fort McMurray Today that 500 goals"is one of the most exclusive milestone clubs there is in the NHL," adding: "But Wayne also kept wearing that jersey and was wearing it the night they won the Stanley Cup as well. So it's one jersey with multiple milestone events tied to it."

Gretzky's 500th goal skates, replete with scuffs, are expected to bring $10,000.

Gloves, cups, and helmets worn during playoff victories and regular seasongames are also to cross the auction block, while Gretzky's Nike tracksuit and equipment bag are estimated at $400 and $500, respectively.
