Very rare Ming dynasty cloisonne enamel bowl

A breathtaking array of fine cloisonne enamel pieces taken from private American collections are being sold at auction with Christies. A superb and very rare Ming dynasty cloisonne deep bowl is to highlight the sale with a $300,000 – $500,000 estimate. While another rare cloisonne piece, a wheeled phoenix vase from the Qianlong period, could fetch $60,000 – $80,000. The auction date is set for the 18th of September.
