"At least 12" strands of Ulysses S. Grant's hair, which comes presented in a gold locket, with a picture of Grant is at auction from Nate D. Sanders. The lot comes complete with a letter of provenance from the undertaker that was in charge of the late General's body, stating that the hair and beard were trimmed by himself. This auction ends on the 1st of August, with the bids opening at $8,000.
