2) 1909 FA Cup Final, Bristol City vs Manchester United - £23,500

A single sheet programme for this FA Cup final, Bristol City vs Manchester United, played at Crystal Palace on April 24th 1909, sold for £23,500 at Graham Budd Auctions in May 2012, the second-most expensive programme ever auctioned. The match was Manchester United’s first ever appearance in an FA Cup final, and Bristol City’s only ever appearance in an FA Cup final. Manchester United won, 1-0.

1) 1882 FA Cup Final, Blackburn Rovers vs Old Etonians - £35,250

A copy of this document, the oldest-known surviving example of an FA Cup Final programme, sold for a record price of £35,250 at Graham Budd Auction in May 2013. The match, held at the Kennington Oval, saw the all-amateur Etonians beat the professional Blackburn Rovers 1-0 - the last time an amateur side lifted the trophy.
